In a recent webinar our Neighborhood 360 Assessment Manager attended, the primary speaker shared that one of the greatest effects COVID has had on faith communities has been that many are more inwardly focused than ever as they cared exclusively for those within their faith community. His point was, more than ever, we have to choose to be outwardly focused and intentional about loving our neighbors. Here are three steps to making this a reality for your church family:
– Corporate Prayer asking God to reveal where He is at work around you.
– Make sure your outreach efforts are consistent and sustainable.
– Go into the Community! Our neighbors need to know we care enough to love them where they are.
