Four Principles to Remember

Before you get started in a Whole Health initiative, or any other Seed to Oaks initiative, we suggest that you understand your community. In an effort to help you stay encouraged and to get started, take a look at these four principles.

  1. God is already at work.
  2. We are defined not by our problems but by our potential.
  3. Effective ministry builds on assets.
  4.  Do ministry with people, not to people.

Start simply. What are you already doing in the community that one small health initiative can be added to? If you are not currently doing any outreach, who is, and how can you help by adding your health initiate?
