As we celebrate Christmas and prepare to step into a new year, we are reminded of the boundless hope we have in Christ. He came to us as Emmanuel—God with us—a living expression of love, compassion, and grace. This same hope calls us to love our neighbors, not just with words but through meaningful action.
At Seed to Oaks, we are committed to equipping Christians and churches to reflect Jesus’ love in practical ways. By helping churches identify where God is already at work in their neighborhoods, we empower them to join Him there—bringing healing, meeting needs, and inspiring transformation.
This past year, we’ve partnered with many churches who share our passion for serving their communities. But we’ve also heard a common refrain: the challenge of balancing financial priorities with outreach. Building costs, staff salaries, and volunteer shortages often make it difficult for churches to fully embrace their call to be good neighbors.
We understand these challenges, and we share the burden many church leaders feel. That’s why we are working to make it easier—and more cost-effective—for churches to care for their communities. Early next year, we’ll begin testing a new application designed to help churches uncover opportunities to meet both needs and dreams in their neighborhoods. This tool will simplify the process of identifying how and where God is already moving, so churches can confidently step into their role as agents of His love.
As we enter 2025, we’re filled with hope and anticipation. Hope that Christ’s love will continue to transform lives, and anticipation for how God will use each of us to bring that hope to the world.
This Christmas season, we invite you to join us in this mission.
