Church Members Help Make Healthier Families in Their Neighborhood

Churches are everywhere in communities, but many of them are inward focused and forget about the surrounding community. But what if the church was outward focused and helped the people around them? Today I want to share a way for the church to help the community through health initiatives.

The church is an institution that is known to help those in need. There are a lot of ways the church can help the community, but one of the most important ways is by providing healthcare to those in need. There are a lot of families who struggle to overcome strategic barriers to healthcare. Sometimes parents, or guardians, are not able to get the care that they want for their children, so a church can step in and offer an entry point in the continuum of healthcare. The church can also provide healthcare to church members, those experiencing homelessness and shut-ins; through education classes, one day health clinics, tele-health or home-health ministries.
A Whole Health strategist can talk to you and find the best and easiest entry into a health ministry at your church.
