For Parents:
- Set a schedule and include fun breaks.
- Anticipate problems and think about how to solve them before they arise. . . and let your child help!
- No one is perfect! Give yourself and your child plenty of grace.
For Students:
- Find a quiet place to work, remove distractions, and keep the schedule where you can see it.
- When frustration hits (or between virtual classes), close your eyes and breathe slowly or stand up and do jumping jacks for 30 seconds.
- Talk to your parents about the kinds of rewards that motivate you to keep going.
